Eco Award for Congregation

Welcome from all at Duffus, Spynie & Hopeman Parish Church.  We hope you find our website useful.

The parish we serve stretches from the northern edge of Elgin down to the coast at Hopeman - a beautiful slice of Moray that encompasses forestry, farming, fishing and much more.  We are a Church of Scotland congregation, part of the Presbytery of Moray.

As a united congregation with 3 places of worship, services take place in 1 or 2 places each Sunday.  Most Sundays we worship at Hopeman at 10am, followed by either Duffus or Spynie at 11.30am.  On the first Sunday of every month we gather in one of the churches for a united service at 10.30am.  See the WHAT'S ON page for details.

We also have God's Wonderful Wednesday Worship (WWW) family worship on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, at 6.00pm in Duffus Church.  This is short, and tailored for families with primary-school age and younger children.

People of all ages are always welcome to all our activities.  Sunday School runs in Hopeman (aged 3 and up) during school terms, while some children's colouring/activities will be available in Duffus & Spynie churches.  Guild and Men's group meet through the autumn and spring, offering a chance to meet and learn together.
